About Me: Alexa Munger, LCMFT
One of the most challenging, impactful statements that I have learned to implement into my life is that with growth comes pain, and when we stuff that pain, we inhibit our chances to grow and compromise our integrity. How long had I been sacrificing my integrity for the sake of others?
Going through the transformational journey, as my Masters program was called, I stepped into vulnerability and hesitantly decided to process my 'pain'. This equaled in having my eyes open to the toxic behaviors I was consistently doing on a daily basis. Further, when my growth started to increase, so did my perspective on the toxic people I was allowing to continue in my life. My education taught me that I can learn to NOT react when in the presence of high levels of anxiety/drama. That in the midst of trials I can still remain integral and not feel like I have to save everyone around me. That for most of my life I had been living on the surface of my personality, to only realize the strong essence that was just below waiting for its chance to thrive.
Being taught to see life through a trauma-filled lens, the 'smallest' pain can have the biggest impact. You may question this path, wondering what unconscious pain has caused your most toxic behaviors and negative thoughts. With my sessions having the presence of authenticity, passion, humor, and some slight directedness, I invite you to take the step towards your healthiest you!

About Me: Makalyn Williams, LCMFT
As a former collegiate athlete, sports hold a special place in my heart. The sport of volleyball has been a constant in my life. When that season of life ended, I honestly did not know who I was apart from being a volleyball player. If you asked me to introduce myself, I would say “my name is Makalyn and I’m a volleyball player.” I also was uncomfortable with emotions that felt out of place on the volleyball court. It felt as if I was meeting myself all over again.
Working through my master’s program, I learned that there were parts of me that I never knew because my competitive, athletic part was front and center. I learned that there were parts of myself that I had kept hidden away or parts that I had ignored for many years. These parts needed my compassion and understanding in order for me to grow, which meant me stepping into a vulnerable place. I learned that the emotions I was unfamiliar with were not wrong or bad, I only needed to become acquainted with them. The major lesson I was that was at times growth can be challenging, sometimes accompanied by pain, but ultimately rewarding. Come to find out when I act out of integrity, I feel more secure in who I am. I finally got to meet who I was, not Makalyn the volleyball player, I met the entire Makalyn.
It is my hope to walk with you on your journey towards your goals. I will encourage you, use humor at times, and I will challenge to you reach your goals. I won’t promise it will always be easy or comfortable. I want to give you permission to take the first step, to move towards your goals and to start your growth journey.

About Me: Clark Munger, LMFT
In a world where we are constantly being bombarded by life's pressures, expectations, and stressors; where there is hurt, broken relationships, trauma, and disappointment; where we shoulder the weight and keep moving forward despite symptoms and difficulty. I challenge you to take a moment to slow down. Set down your bag and sort through it. For you to work to find purpose, understanding, and insight in your personal experiences. Then to use those experiences to shape and develop integrity that you might become the person you know you can be.
As I watched my wife go through school and develop as a therapist, I noticed her positive growth over time. She developed a greater sense of integrity and ability to keep lasting change. I desired that for myself. I desired to be able to grow into the person I had dreamed of. Once finishing my graduate degree, I finally had obtained the right skills and insight needed to transform into the husband, father, and man that I had been pursuing.
After going through two years of my graduate program, I have been able to be more integral to my values and the vision of the person I am continually striving to be. However, this process can be a challenging one. This process does not come without effort. Insight without action is useless, action without insight is meaningless. Take the step forward, I would be honored to partner with you on this journey.
"You will either step forward into growth, or back into safety."
